Howdy! I’m Drych, a professional multi-media illustrator, storyteller, painter, drawer, musician, Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design Illustration alumnus, creature-enjoyer, goober… you get the point. My art is like my life– not reflective of a single thing. But, if I had to classify it, I would say that my art falls into two distinct categories– fantastical storytelling, and eclectic absurdity. I usually butter my bread with storytelling, comics, character design, product design, and general illustration, but I’ll sample some other jams. I am based out of wherever I can get an internet connection, but I prefer to work where interspecies heckling is at a minimum.
I’m the type of creature to take things as they come– permanence is a commodity, and putting one foot in front of the other can lead you to places you may have never even thought of. As my good buddy Murphy says, “anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.” And to combat that, you just gotta keep trucking, hold your head high, and let your creativity run wild.
